Are you a student interested in conducting research or teaching in a foreign country? Would you like to know more about how to receive funding for your project? Then plan on attending the The Fulbright funds an academic year of international experience for U.S. citizens, and is open to graduating seniors and graduate students. With more than 1,900 awards available, the Fulbright is a terrific opportunity to study, conduct international research or work as an English teaching assistant abroad.
Information about the Fulbright U.S. Student program will be given by Lee Rivers, the Assistant Manager for Outreach and Special Projects for the Institute of International Education. He will share information about the purpose of the Fulbright program, the range of opportunities available and how to create a strong application. This presentation will be followed by an opportunity to speak with Mr. Rivers one-on-one about the application process and more specific information about various opportunities.
