Benjamin Cluff Jr. Lecture: "Agency as a Tool to Fight Racism"

Thursday, March 05
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Each year the David O. McKay School of Education honors the life of BYU's first president, Benjamin Cluff Jr., with a lecture in his name. This year's lecture is titled "Agency as a Tool to Fight Racism" given by Jennifer Adair, associate professor of early childhood education at the University of Texas. Her work argues that educational equality is possible only when we are working to fix discriminatory systems, interventions and pedagogies rather than trying to fix young children and their families.
