Brian Cannon Lecture part of the By Study and By Faith: 150 Years of BYU Series

Wednesday, October 15
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
1160 HBLL Reynolds Auditorium

Brian Cannon will present the second in a series of lectures in association with the BYU Library's Special Collections exhibit, By Study and By Faith: 150 Years of BYU.

He will focus on the legacy of Benjamin Cluff Jr. and George H. Brimhall.

Brigham Young University is, at its heart, a community—one that fosters learning, scholarship, and spiritual development. The development of this community over the past 150 years can be seen in its historical records held in the University Archives. This community is examined in the Special Collections exhibit By Study and By Faith: 150 Years of Brigham Young University which runs from August 2025 to June 2026 in the Special Collections Gallery on level 1 of the Harold B. Lee Library. We would like to invite students, staff, faculty, and alumni as well as community members to come visit the exhibit. For more information contact Gordon Daines at gordon_daines@byu.eduor Cory Nimer at cory_nimer@byu.edu.

On October 29, Gordon Daines will take about the legacy of Franklin S. Harris and Howard S. McDonald.

The public is welcome and admission is free.
