Don't miss the last Chocolate Chat of the semester: "Exploring the Power of Fermentation: From Yogurt to Chocolate and Beyond" with Dr. Gene Ahlborn, an Associate Professor in Nutrition, Dietetics, & Food Science. With a Ph.D. in Food Safety and Toxicology, Dr. Ahlborn's research focuses on food safety, gluten-free products, and mycotoxin detection. He’s an active member of the Institute of Food Technologists and the Society of Toxicology, contributing to key professional committees. Dr. Ahlborn has published widely in top journals and presents his work at international conferences. He teaches courses in food science and nutrition, shaping the next generation of experts in the field. And of course there will be chocolate treats!
