The BYU Wind Symphony celebrates Black History Month with a concert titled “Toward Freedom…” featuring Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, two works honoring Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and a musical celebration of the Black Sunday worship experience by composer Omar Thomas.
