The BYU Wind Symphony is joined by world-renowned trombonist Joseph Alessi in a performance of Concerto for Trombone by legendary jazz pianist and Grammy Award winner Chick Corea. Alessi is the longtime Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic and on the faculty of the Juilliard School. Written specifically for Alessi, Chick Corea’s Concerto for Trombonewas the final work completed before his death in 2021.
