After a prolonged absence following the death of her son, noblewoman Lyobov Ranevskaya returns to her home and finds the cherry orchard on the estate in full bloom. Despite the outward sign of prosperity, she is on the verge of financial ruin. Along with her brother, Gaev, Lyobov struggles to maintain the façade of gentility as their world crumbles around them. Considered one of the great classic works of Russian Theatre, this production will feature the work of BYU’s senior BFA Acting Students.
