Audrey Perry Martin was appointed assistant to the president for University Communications on June 1, 2025. In this role, she acts as the university’s primary spokesperson and directs the work of BYU University Communications. Perry Martin earned a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism from BYU.
Prior to her current role, Perry Martin was a partner at Lex Politica, a national political law firm. Her practice focused on advising corporations, candidates, political committees and parties on campaign and election law issues. Additionally, she worked as counsel for the Committee on House Administration and at the Federal Election Commission.
