Brianna Magnusson completed a degree in community health education from BYU in 2002. She went on to earn a master’s degree in public health and a PhD in epidemiology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005 and 2011.
Following her graduate work, she joined the BYU faculty in the Department of Public Health. Dr. Magnusson teaches courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, and statistical computing. Her primary areas of research include sexual and reproductive health.
Dr. Magnusson was born in California and raised primarily in Virginia. She has been married to Jason Curtis for five years.
