Associate professor Jacob Rawlins will give the College’s first-ever Frieda Olga Wunderly Lecture titled, “‘To an Amicable Concorde and Unity’: Rhetorical Boundary Work in Pedagogy.”
Frieda Olga Wunderly taught at BYU from 1916 to 1924, where she also continued her studies and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1919. Wunderly offered courses in German and French, along with business writing.
The College of Humanities is pleased to award the Wunderly Professorship to faculty members who continue her legacy of excellence and innovation in the classroom and her passion for lifelong learning.
The lecture will take place on Thursday, February 29 at 11 a.m. in B092 JFSB. All are invited to attend.
