Brad Bruton has served over 42 years in the Intelligence Community and is now an active intelligence trainer. He graduated BYU with a bachelor’s degree in history. He also has a Juris Doctorate from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. He has been affiliated with the Director of National Intelligence/Open Source Center, the Department of Homeland Security, Intelligence, and Analysis Academy, the Navy-Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center, and the Coast Guard Intelligence Training School. He has worked in Washington D.C. as well as seven overseas posts, where he became proficient in establishing Open Source Collection platforms. He has been teaching a course on Open Source Intelligence at BYU since 2015.
