Richard Bruner recently completed A-100 and received his first assignment as a new U.S. Foreign Service Officer, working in public diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy in Bangladesh. Previously, he has worked as a State Department Civil Servant and contractor, with the American Foreign Service Association, and with the Department of Defense. He received a master’s degree in public relations from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in history from Brigham Young University where he was president of the Foreign Service Student Organization (FSSO).
