The Constitution, Latter-day Saints, and Political Tribalism: A Conversation About Our Times

Join us for the annual Constitution Day Lecture to hear Judge Griffith speak on the polarization that marks the current political moment in America. He’ll talk about how it poses a threat to the Constitution and what Latter-day Saints might do.

Thomas B. Griffith served on the U. S. Court of Appeals for the D. C. Circuit from 2005-2020. Prior to his appointment, Judge Griffith was the General Counsel of BYU and before that served as Senate Legal Counsel, the non-partisan chief legal officer of the U. S. Senate. Currently, he is a Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School and Special Counsel at the international law firm Hunton Andrews Kurth. Earlier this year, President Joe Biden appointed Judge Griffith to the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court.
