Honors Book Club

In this informal group, we’ll sample and discuss passages from the greatest works of literature of all time. No need to prepare, and no need to buy the books – handouts of passages for discussion will be supplied to everybody who comes. At each meeting we’ll be introduced to a new classic work and sample some of its most meaningful, provocative, and beautiful passages. Our discussions will be led by Dr. John Talbot, Professor of English literature, a poet and scholar of Greek and Latin, and former Alcuin fellow.
