Come hear from the recipient of the 2024 Kennedy Distinguished Service Award, Hani Almadhoun. This award recognizes individuals who are influential in their field, demonstrate service and the importance of a global perspective, and make contributions that increases peace, empathy, and understanding.

This event will feature a reception in his honor, after which he will deliver remarks titled "Perfect Love Casts Out Fear."

Almadhoun serves as the Senior Director of Philanthropy at United Nations Relief and Works Agency USA, a U.S.-based charity dedicated to ensuring that UNRWA has the resources to continue its life-saving work for Palestine refugees. Prior to this role, Hani held leadership positions with prominent American charities such as Anera and Muslim Advocates; he is also the co-founder of the Gaza Soup Kitchen. He has written op-eds for CNN, The Nation, and the LA Times, and made countless media appearances on MSNBC, BBC, PBS, Newsmax, CNN, and other outlets, bringing attention to the urgent needs of the people of Gaza.
