Stephanie Foster Breinholt: Cultivating an Individual Voice in a Collaborative Art

This year's Phi Kappa Phi Distinguished Faculty Lecture will be presented by Stephanie Foster Breinholt. She will direct her remarks around the topic "Cultivating an Individual Voice in a Collaborative Art: A Theatre Director’s Journey."

Stephanie Foster Breinholt has recently been appointed the new artistic director of BYU Theatre. She previously served for eight years as the BFA acting program area head. She teaches a range of voice courses, voice over, acting, and she mentors directing, design, and acting students. She is a nationally recognized
director and award-winning educator having received national commendations from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, the National Alliance of Acting Teachers, and the Association for Theatre Higher Education. Breinholt is also an award-winning professional stagector, voiceover artist, voice and dialect coach, and designer. She will be directing BYU’s upcoming production of Pride and Prejudice at BYU.
