Corn Shucking Contest

Aww Shucks! All BYU Faculty and Staff are invited to our first ever corn shucking contest and fresh elote corn! Experience for yourself the benefits of communal eating and cooking. Featuring special guest Jarom Jordan, Studio Show Host for BYUtv as commentator of the event. Reserve your spot today!

Each round, competitors will be given an explanation on the rules, be given 60 seconds to shuck as many corn cobbs as possible with their partners, then the winners of each round will be awarded a corny prize. Contestants, please remember to come ten minutes early to your round to allow for smooth transitions.

The corn will then be grilled on-site and attendees will be given the choice of Elote (Mexican Street Corn) , buttered, or plain grilled corn. All employees are invited to munch on corn, chat, play cornhole and cheer on coworkers even if you don't compete.
