Join us to hear from former US Senator Gordon H. Smith, who will share valuable lessons from two terms in the Senate and a lifetime of leadership in public service. Drawing on his work across key Senate committees and years of national and civic leadership, Senator Smith offers insights into governing with integrity, making difficult decisions, and seeking the common good in challenging times.

Gordon H. Smith, a proud BYU alumnus, represented Oregon for two terms in the United States Senate, where he served on the Finance, Foreign Relations, Commerce, and Energy Committees. Following his Senate career, he led the National Association of Broadcasters as president and CEO for more than a decade. An attorney and longtime business leader, he has also dedicated his time to church service, alongside his wife, Sharon, as Directors of Church Hosting for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
