POSTPONED—“Taking Care of Nature, Taking Care of Ourselves”

Tuesday, March 17
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Maeser Auditorium 321

POSTPONED

Nature is both a reminder of our mortality and a gift given to us by a loving Creator and Savior. In this lecture, humanities professor George Handley will explore how the experience of suffering motivates and shapes our relationship to the natural world and why the creation’s healing qualities should inspire us to take better care of all of life.

This Living Faith Lecture celebrates the publication of the Maxwell Institute’s latest book, The Hope of Nature: Our Care for God’s Creation. Released on March 10. Copies will be available for purchase at the event.
